Discoveries:
1. I went to Revival 1869 in Clayton last night & enjoyed bassist Rick Bugel's Trio (Rick + pianist Andrew Berinson + drummer Donovan Cheatham. Good set-up there, a "living room" for good listening separate from the bar next-door. It's worth going down there to sit next to folks you want to hear.
2. Nnenna Freelon has a new recording out featuring numerous local players. It's on YouTube at:
