Locavore Jazz © Website & Blog

Locavore Jazz is a one-stop site for the Durham-Raleigh-Chapel Hill jazz scene especially when existing jazz calendars & list serves don't do the trick:

Picture
A little background: My enjoyment of jazz started in high school & college. Living outside jazz centers--including eleven years overseas in exotic places mostly devoid of jazz--resulted in its absence making my heart grow fonder.  Eight years of living in the jazz hotbed of Washington DC & nine back in the Triangle "warmbed" of jazz have energized me further.  Six years of managing Locavore Jazz only makes me excited with our future. That guy on the left? Yeah, he needs a current photo!
