in Discovery: I was ready to recommend catching Ryan Hanseler's playing with trumpeter Eric Williams tomorrow night at Sharp Nine, when I found out Eric had to bow out, the fine vocalist Gracie Jay taking the gig w/ Ryan. Gracie graduated from NCCU recently, continued gigs in her native SW & started performing in the Baltimore-Washington area:
